Instead of seeing what someone much younger than you or a high style fashionista is buying, I got to thinking that you’d like to see what my real life, real world clients are buying for spring.
Is this to say I think this is what you should be buying for spring? Absolutely not!

Today I’m sharing a few of the trends, classics, and brands that are working really well—things you might consider for your spring wardrobe refresh.
I recently shopped with* one of my clients, Jennifer, who bought mostly work clothes, plus a few pieces for a trip and dinners out. And today I'm sharing what she bought in the store and is buying online, too.

Here's What Jennifer is buying for spring
Dresses
Jennifer is an accountant and goes into an office EVERY day. It’s a somewhat conservative, professional environment, but it’s not at all corporate, and she isn’t client facing
While we bought more layered looks and suiting for fall/winter, Jen told me that she has a wall of windows in her office, and by noon in spring/summer, it’s boiling.

I think we can all agree that dresses are easy...one and done! This dress is no exception. The fabric is beautiful, a cotton and silk blend (yep, washable.) Jen can dress it up with a leather belt and slingbacks for work. Or she can dress it down with sandals.
A Cropped Blazer
Cropped Blazers are a big trend for Spring. This one is super cute on Jen. It's fun, but professional and works as a suit jacket, over a dress, or even with jeans! (I may or may not have bought this for myself 😜!
Psst...neither of us are wearing cropped tops, LOL!
Peplum tops
As I mentioned in this post, peplums are back...in a really good way!
On her style journey with me, Jen has discovered she really likes texture, and loves the texture of this top. It has a matching lightweight cardigan for the office, but obvi, she can shed it when the afternoon sun heats up the office.
(I always say bare arms are far more professional that sweat rolling down your face 😂)
I've also been seeing TONS of light blue in the stores, but this top and its matching cardi, come in a bunch of colors.
