Spring 2024 color trends bring something for everyone.
I thought color trends would be a great place to start since it’s still quite early in the, a.k.a. it’ll be cold a little longer.
Also, if you’re itching to start updating your wardrobe and start wearing it right away, color is a great place to start.
One more “good to know” before we dig into Spring 2024 Color Trends…
When I refer to “color trends” I’m simply referring to colors that will be popular and available at retail. And you can feel extra stylish wearing them.
Does this mean your colors will be “out of style” in future season? No, no, no, not even! I don’t ever feel like any color you love that makes you feel great is “out”!
Spring 2024 Color Trends
Porcelain white
White in summer, groundbreaking! Of course white will always be classic for spring and summer. The designer runways are showing a very stark white, which isn’t always everyone’s best white.
I recommend wearing your best white…or the one you like best! For instant updates with this hue, look for textures and interesting details.
Wear it now: Top white pant/jeans with a navy blazer, sweater and metallic shoes for an updated classic look. Want a little more edge? Try a buttery soft, navy motorcycle jacket.

Cherry Red
Cherry red is a deeper red with more blue in it, perfect for cool toned beauties.
“Cherry Red” was also translated to a dark, wine red on many runways; however, I’m not 100% it’ll be showing up in stores for spring.
If you’re better in a warm, tomato red, no fear…you’re still on point! I’ve actually seen more of this shade more so far in stores.
Wear it now: Add pops of cherry into your dark neutral outfits for an early pop of spring cheer no matter what the weather.
Sky Blue (and all other blues)
Me: well there ya go…red, white and sky blue! A little unexpected, but oh so classic!
Pastels top the majority of my clients’ “don’t like” lists. Good news, this shade is much more intense than true pastels and often borders on aqua.
Wear it now: Obviously it’s a good choice for a blouse or sweater. But why not try a tailored, sky blue dress or trench coat?
If you’re someone who loves blue, as many of my clients do, you’ll be happy to know that in addition to Sky Blue, a huge range of blues are showing up in fashion from the palest of pales to royal blue to navy.
Pastel Lilac
This shade is actually forecasted to be one of the top color trends of 2024!
I know, I know…it’s another pastel. But there’s no “pastel police” out there, so feel free to wear an intense lilac that’s not so pastel…you’ll still look fab!
Love pastel lilac, but not sure it’s great for your skin tone? Choose bottoms, shoes or a pretty accessory. And lilac is beautiful paired with a wide range of neutral colors including: white, navy and mushroom.
2024 Spring Color Trend & Color of the Year: Peach Fuzz
If you’ve been wondering what the Pantone Color of the Year is, enter Peach Fuzz. When I think of this color, it catapults me right back to the ’80’s! Peach really hasn’t been widely available since.
The exact shade is going to look best if you’ve got a warmer skin tone. If you’re cooler, look for peach with a lot of pink in it…a la coral.
