Oh my goodness! I just found the most incredible product! You all know I don’t really talk about make-up or cosmetics very often, (clothing is my true specialty.) But I just had to share this!!!

Have you heard of the MakeUp Eraser? The name pretty much says it all…it’s a micro-fiber cloth that, you guessed it (lol), erases your make-up. With-just-water! (The physics behind it is actually pretty fascinating.)

I’m seriously excited about this and just ordered it!

I use Neutrogena (well the King Sooper copy cat brand) of eye make-up remover, and while it works fine, it’s a pain to use. It’s messy and time consuming. And don’t even get me started on how many cotton balls I use!

True confession: sometimes I skip mascara, because I don’t want to have to take it off before bed bc it’s so messy. (I know, lazy, huh?) I also think my current eye make-up remover leaves a residue, even after I rinse it off, that makes my eyelids more oily.

The second reason I’m excited about the MakeUp Eraser is that I use Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear 24H Long Wear Foundation. It STAYS ON! I have to work pretty hard with a washcloth to get it off.

I am also convinced that using the MakeUp Eraser is going to be a game changer when I use it before my cleanser. I’m sure my cleanser is going to give me a deeper clean, not having to cut through so much make-up, lol!

Geez, I know I’m gushing and don’t mean to sound “salesly,” but I just keep thinking of why this is going to be so cool for me. It’s going to be amazing for travel. And you know when you make a little oops with your mascara, eye liner or lip liner (maybe that’s just me?,) it’ll clean up easy without having to muck up the rest of your make-up.

The other reasons the MakeUp Eraser is such a cool product (which aren’t as personal, but still…):

• It’s antibacterial: Gotta love that!
• It’s better for the environment: Fewer cotton balls and plastic bottles. I don’t personally use make-up remover wipes, but it’s the company’s mission to reduce the 3^rd most wasteful product in the world.
• It’s a gentle face + lip exfoliator: Can’t we all use a little more exfoliation?

I’m normally a bit skeptical of products like this, but I watched the product testing video from “The Doctors” TV show on the MakeUp Eraser website, and it seemed totally legit and got me totally on board.
