The other day when I was surfing for fashion sites, I came upon the cutest U-Tube video. It was three British women all in their early ’20’s discussing whether jeans are appropriate for holiday parties. What are your thoughts?
They came to the conclusion that you shouldn’t wear jeans to a holiday party for the following reason:
- “Jeans and dressy tops are so 2001.” This struck me as funny! 2001? Really? (Well, perhaps in England.) Nordstrom and even Net-a-porter.com show almost everything with jeans.
- “It’s really the only time of the year that you really get to dress up.” I will agree here. It feels rather special to dress up.
There are so many cute dresses, sequined skirts, and other holiday separates, that I think it seems a shame to fall back on jeans. I’d love to hear your opinions!
