I’ll just say it—black pants are boring! Don’t get me wrong…I have black pants! I wear black pants. But it’s easy to get in a style rut and just throw them on with any old thing and be out the door, especially on those blah mornings. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that along with these shopping tips you probably know, I am militant about only buying clothes you love. In fact, I staunchly believe in holding out for the perfect item, i.e. denying immediate satisfaction. And often I believe holding out for a certain price or quality.
As much as I love color, lately I’ve been wearing a lot of neutrals. You know how much I believe in basics and I’ve recently found an outfit formula that’s easy, elegant and fresh.
