Wine, Velvet and Florals, Oh My!

I had you at wine, didn’t I? In my post on Mauve last week, I had the hardest time limiting myself to talking about just one color. Since I’ve been seeing so many great color combos, such as mauve and wine, and interesting trends this fall, this week, I’m featuring 3 fall 2017 trends! Wine! Yep, I love to drink it and wear it! While wine as a fashion color doesn’t exactly sound new, it actually is. While the hue’s big sister, burgundy, is closer to purple and has been popular a few autumns now, wine is more red. How to Wear the Maximalism Trend

Have you been feeling maximal lately? Good! Today’s post is all about the new trend of maximalism. What it isn’t? Simple! But that doesn’t mean it’s difficult to achieve. As much as I am drawn to Rose Quartz, the color of 2016, it’s neither easy to wear nor a client favorite. As a fashion consultant in Denver, green is a favorite color of many of my clients, and most love all shades of it. Yes, Greenery is a very specific color according to Pantone; however, it’s inspiration for the fashion industry, and the shades of green you’ll find in the stores will [..] read more

7 Tips for Wearing Rose Gold

Ever since I got my new, rose gold iPhone case, I’ve been obsessed with the rosy metal. True, it’s not a brand new trend (and the real deal has been around for decades,) but I hadn’t paid all that much attention to it. After a little research, (yes, I know you’re probably find it hard to believe I research fashion,) I’ve found rose gold flatters most skin tones. And it’s softer than yellow gold or silver, creating a lower contrast. As a wardrobe consultant in Denver, I know we have a lot of cold weather left and  love rose gold [..] read more
