Jeans for a Holiday Party?

The other day when I was surfing for fashion sites, I came upon the cutest U-Tube video. It was three British women all in their early ’20’s discussing whether jeans are appropriate for holiday parties. What are your thoughts? They came to the conclusion that you shouldn’t wear jeans to a holiday party for the following reason: “Jeans and dressy tops are so 2001.” This struck me as funny! 2001? Really? Never wear?

Yesterday on about.com, Cynthia Nellis posted an article titled, “Top 5 Things a Grown Woman Should Never Wear.” She lists: overalls, pig tails, knee socks, tie dye, and rabbit fur. I’ll agree with Cynthia on the overalls. They’re cute on kids, but they just don’t flatter any adult woman’s figure type. Luckily, I can’t say I’ve seen anyone wearing them around town. Pigtails-They can be okay for working out or perhaps skiing, and the little short ones look kind of cute for a sporty look.
